Kamotho is an astute lawyer majoring in commercial, corporate and tax matters. He is a registered Company Secretary and also serves in the Law Society of Kenya Tax Committee.

He has experience advising clients on regulatory issues across various sectors such as inf rastructure, energy, employment, procurement, Not-for-Profit organizations and manufacturing. He has also advised on and actualized various types of business entities including private limited companies, foreign companies registered in Kenya (branch), Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), Societies and Non-Governmental Organizations.

He has also advised clients on tax aspects of corporate structuring & restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, property development and cross-border transactions. Additionally, he has documented transfer pricing policies for companies in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.

Kamotho has also advised and represented clients in Kenya Revenue Authority audits and dispute resolution. He has experience representing clients before the Tax Appeals Tribunal, the KRA Alternative Dispute Resolution Division and the High Court.

He also routinely represents clients in Kenyan courts on constitutional and human rights, employment and labour disputes, commercial and civil, family law & succession and environment & land matters. Kamotho is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Certified Secretary (CS) and qualified in Principles of International Taxation (UK).
